Matthew White
MATTHEW WHITE ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE |
In his current capacity as Account Executive – Employment Tax Services for Equifax Workforce Solutions (“EWS”), Matthew assists companies in analyzing employment tax issues associated with mergers, acquisitions, internal reorganizations and other similar business transactions. In addition, he consults with employers on unemployment cost management as well as proper employment tax planning and auditing.
Over his thirty one (31) year career, Matthew has also held positions in EWS’ tax operations group as well as field service organization as a Client Relationship Manager. Throughout his time with EWS, Matthew has been a regular speaker at state and local level trade organizations such as PayrollOrg (f/k/a the American Payroll Association).
Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri – St. Louis and resides in O’Fallon, MO with his wife Melissa and their two teenage kids – Connor and Allison. In his spare time, Matthew loves spending time with family and friends at the world famous Lake of the Ozarks in mid-Missouri.
Workshop Session 3-B: Unemployment Trends & Insights: Reviewing 2024 & Looking Ahead To 2025

This workshop will focus on the road to solvency for state UI trust funds, review legislative updates relating to Federal and State UI tax rates and discuss strategies to assist employers in reducing their UI Cost. The workshop will also forecast if 2025 state unemployment insurance tax rates appear to be improving and discuss what that may mean to employers’ overall UI tax costs.
